01/01/10 -- Church Events

 

WINTER & SPRING BIBLE CLASSES

OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN AND GROW IN GOD’S WORD

 

Sundays:  (9:10am until 10:10am

  • Light Source (Family Ministry) Bible Hour Children (3 year old-8th grade) and their parents join together to learn, praise, and rejoice! We begin in the sanctuary at 9:15 AM.
  • General Adult Bible Class:  Take a second look at the accounts the Sunday school children are learning and see how much these accounts have to teach us as adults.  Meets in the Bible classroom.
  • Reality Check – Teens study and talk about God’s direction for their life.

 

 Mondays:

  •  Women’s Bible Study Group-             12:00 - 1:30pm. in the Youth Rm.  Have you ever been in one of those conversations where it turns to a spiritual issue and you didn’t know what to say to defend your faith and God’s will?  What do you say?  How do you answer?  Here with the help of God’s Word, we become “Prepared to Answer.”  Please join us and “put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand...”  Eph. 6:11.
  • True North Campus Ministry  8:30pm in the Johnson Field House (Hall of Champions). Please join us for snacks, Bible study- topics of current interest and fellowship.
  • High Rise Bible History Study- 5:45pm led by RC. Jensen.  A Catechism class for adults!  How well do you remember you Confirmation lessons?  Join us and bring a friend for this informal study with lots of discussion and applications to our lives today.  Oh… NO memory work required!

 

Wednesdays: 

  • Confirmation Class;  6:00 – 7:30; 5th - 8th grade Public Students.
  • Christian Doctrine: This is a more in-depth Bible study on Christian doctrine. If you would like to study God's Word in more detail (and do not mind a bit of homework), join us for this Bible study. We meet in the Bible classroom from 7:30 to 8:30 PM.

 

Fridays:

  • Men’s Breakfast Group meets Friday mornings at 6:30 am with breakfast at the church with a free will donation.  Bible Class currently in progress is the book of Judges. Approximately 1 hour in length. Lead by Pastor Schmeling.

School Events

Let's play ball!

Come out to Wakanda Park on Sunday evenings to support our youth.

Extra!  Extra!  Starting June 13th on Field #5 at 6:30 pm there will be games for current 10-12 graders who still want to play ball.  Bring a glove and check it out every Sunday if you want to play.
